Universitätsbibliothek

The Digital Library of the Medical University of Graz provides access to numerous resources via licensed databases, including scientific articles, e-books and studies.

Open Access databases offer free medical knowledge and promote the exchange of scientific information. Our learning platforms enable interactive knowledge transfer in the form of courses, exercises and tests. In addition, our video platforms provide videos and tutorials on medical techniques and concepts for students as well as scientists and researchers. Together, they create a comprehensive and modern learning environment that gives you flexible access to knowledge and education.

Journal Citation Reports: Impact Factor

JCR contains the Journal Impact Factors (JIFs) of journals. The impact factor shows how often an article was cited on average per year.

From the 2022 edition of the JCR (published in summer 2023), also the journals of the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) were given a Journal Impact Factor (IF) for the first time. However, since the journals of the ESCI have a completely different position in the structure of the JCR than those of SCIE and SSCI, these journal ratings are not included in the research portal of the Med Uni Graz. Attention: the journal rankings on the JCR website therefore differ from the internally used rankings!

For further information on the JCR and internal use in the research portal, please see: https://muniverse.medunigraz.at/forschung/forschungsleistungen/forschungsportal/zeitschriftenbewertungen.
